Taking Diction For Santa

My nephew made me take diction the other night, giving me his rough copy Santa list. The reasoning was "You have pretty handwriting, Santa can't read mine." I didn't have much difficulty, but I threw myself into my work.  (Yes, it's true, not often have I met 6 year olds with "good" penmanship, as we'd have put it. I adore the cute mispellings. But apparently, he figured he should have his own secretary. Gotta love this kid. He also says his Mom doesn't work far from HIS office.
From the mouth of a babe, with Aunt Beth taking notes:
Dear Santa,
This year, I would like a Mario DS game, some Wii games, "Creepy Crawlies", Bay Blades,  & stacking cups. My name is C. and I'm 6. I have a really great house, a really great Mom, a cool dog, a new school, and a great life!
I told Aunt Beth that you really do exist (Way to humble me, kid, keep it up :) ) I like gymnastics, Sponge Bob and Big Time Rush. I also love art! :)
Thank you, Merry Christmas, and we'll be ready for you on the 24th!.
Love & Merry Christmas from all of us.
Love, C. , Age 6

  1. C. is so freakin adorable! It's sweet that he let Santa know how awesome his world is! His mom needs to hold onto this letter and show it to him when he is a teen and he thinks his world sucks...

  2. I made sure to make copies :) I preferred his, even if I had to translate it- it took a couple minutes, which is probably why he had me write the big draft!
